Gringo Comp

Mahm y Daddy O

Ha! This week was pretty freaking amazing. My companion had changes and I got a freaking gringo comp. His name is Elder Johnson he has 1 change more than I have and he's freaking awesome. It's soo nice having a gringo comp, I think we will work well together.  His first day in the area we baptized a kid named A... so that was pretty dang exciting.

So this week was pretty fun. We had some cool experiences.  We went to a house that was pretty freakin' far away and these kids had caught a large rabbit.. I don't know how they caught it, but it was pretty cool. So we took pictures with it and everything then we got on with the lesson and like 3 minutes later the rabbit just dropped dead out of nowhere. It threw up a bunch of white stuff and died on the spot... awesome.

So Nathan is getting married eh? Well all I gotta say GET R´ DONE, and that I love him and I wish the best for him. I can't wait to get back cause we're gonna have lots of fun. And that I don't know much about marriage or what that really even means, but I found a quote that made me feel all tingly inside. "Always strive to give your spouse the very best of yourself; not what's left over after you have given the best to everyone else" Give the best of yourself to her.

Love you guys

We Going For it All

Mahm y Daddy-O

Hey guys how's it going? This week has been pretty good. We got two fechas (baptism dates) for the month coming up, and we ain't stopping there. We going for it all... that's right we gonna baptize 'em all. So this week are changes (transfers). They coming up on Wednesday to be exact It'll be fun to see what happens. Lots of people are saying a bunch of crap but Imma just wait to see what happens.

It sounds like a whole butt load off crap is happening with all the wedding stuff... That kind of is a little weird though to have the wedding in Rexburg. Like I have personally been to Rexburg and unless they are getting married in the freaking ONE 711 they have there, then they are gonna freeze there butts off in the great out doors. But whatever they want I guess...

This week we moved houses because where we were living wasn't in our area. Even though the house was really nice, we had to move to a crappy house in our area. That happened, and also while we where doing service on the National Service Day I threw up like all the freaking rice and beans that I have ever eaten here on my mission. Like it was seriuoslly bad. But I had been feeling bad all this week and when i threw up, I felt a little better, so that was a bright side... It's the little things.

This week for P-day we played soccer again from like 8 o'clock to like 12 o'clock. It was pretty dang exciting. Also Elder Ga... and I played trompo. Trompo is a little toy which is like tops, like plastic tops they sell to all the kids here. They come with a string and you have to spin them.. its pretty fun.

So that's pretty much it. I love you guys hope everything is good.

Things here are Amazing

Mahm y Daddy O

How's it going guys? Things here are going amazing. We baptized L... this Saturday, and now the members are supporting him and motivating him to go on a mission... He is awesome. I think he is going to go in a year. So that happened. We also found an awesome family of 5 (but only 3 with the age of baptism), they are awesome too. I have faith they are going to be baptized. The Dad takes care of race horses. He has a bunch of horses from the States, a couple from Spain, and one from Panama. He told me he was going to teach me how to ride. Haha, I'm not sure if we can.

Last week we went to the beach as a zone for P day. Before we could only do activities as a district, now we can do 2 zone activities a month.  So this P-day we played soccer in the morning as a district, and then we went to eat Taco Bell and then we did everything else we do on P-day.

That was an awesome dream you had Mahm,  but the churches here are just churches. In one of my areas (Maclen) there where a bunch of apple orchards though.  Just like your dream, so that could come true haha!

I miss you guys, and I can't wait to see you on Christmas. Hey did Dad ever sell his car back or what because if he did he should get a Tesla to replace it! Haha that would be awesome.

Anyways I love you guys,

Have an awesome week!

Smooth as an Avocado Seed

Hey Maham y Daddy O

How's it going over there? Everything over here is going as smoothly as one of those seeds from the inside of a avocado... yea, hahha. I love my mission. It's pretty freaking awesome. I can't believe how fast everything has been going. I already have 15 months- that's crazy.

This week we had some really cool experiences. We had a zone meeting and we were taught about how to help the investigator have a spiritual experience. It was awesome. We put it to practise this week and now one of our investigators L is getting baptized this Saturday. He was really scared about being baptized and didn't want to accept a fecha (challenge) but we helped him feel the Spirit and then we invited him to pray and ask if he needed to be baptized and when. Then he told us the other day he was going to be baptized this Saturday! AWESOME!! We really aren't the teachers, it's the Spirit that teaches.

So that happened and for the first time in 15 months I went to the beach. It was amazing black sand. We played soccer, drank Coke, and ate McDonald's. A pretty great P-day.

About the plan you had that would beee awesome I'm down completely... Just let me know what is best for you guys I'll be here ready for anything.

I LOVE YOU MAHAM, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Trump?

Mammy'O y Dahd

Hey guys! This week has been really cool. We were able to do a lot of good things in our area and help alot of our investigators progress. I love it. I can't believe in 8 days it will be 15 months that's crazy!!

So I got your package. Thank you sooo much. I love the camera and the socks and the tie and the cookies. Thanks! I love you guys. I also got my card. I don't know how to activate it though.  I think I'll just leave that to you guys.

Soo this week has been a little wierd because Donald Trump is president, and now that he is the President everyone comes up to talk to me and asks me why he hates Latinos. I don't know really what to say in that situation. I mostly just make a joke or something and tell them I didn't vote and that I don't know much about him. I really don't know... We will see how he does I guess. I really didn't want either one of them. Why didn't Romney run again? Whatever. I saw in the papers that Trump wants to deport like 3 million people. That will change a bunch of people's lives here. Lots of people have family members that live in the states and they depend on them to have a normal life.

I dont know Itl'l all be okay I guess hahahah.

Hey soo the suit that I want to get is gonna be a little more than 70 bucks it's gonna be like 1000 quetzales which is like 80 dollars more. If you guys can't do it than that's okay. There are other things I can get for cheaper. Love you guys.

Transfers

MAHM Y DADDY O,

How's it going in Olney? I hope you guys are doing well. Sometimes I get really focused or really baggy and don't feel like writing because it will just make me get un-focused or make me feel more baggy. Hahah it's a little confusing, like maybe one or two P-days out of the month, I feel like that and don't really want to write... Sorry.

These last two weeks have been amazing though and I'm really sad to leave El Rodeo. All the people that I have met and friends that I have made... It's like leaving home all over again every time I leave an area. It sucks some major dog poop. I have learned a lot here and will never forget the people. I told all the people I said goodbye to that I was going to come back with a bunch of other white people to visit. Soooo we have to come back one day or else I'll be a liar. These transfers are really wierd though because my comp has more time than I do in the area, but it's what God wants I guess.

Lately I have been thinking a lot about the will of God, or what He wants me to do. I read the strory of when Nephi and his brothers went back to get the plates of brass. First what they did was ask Laban for the plates, which is what any normal person would do when they need something. Then when that didn't work they offered Laban all their riches to trade for the plates, which was a great idea which could have worked out fine. But when those two options failed they where like "God? What the heck why did you send us do get the plates if freaking Laban is a freaking punk who will never give them to us?" That is where God gave Nephi the answer, and finally he got the plates. Sometimes we have goals or things we want to do in life and we need God's help but we do it they way WE want to do it and don't listen to God and sometimes we even murmur because He hasn't given us what we want. But what we really need to do first is listen and follow what is His will, and then we will be successful. That's something I have learned here that we have to follow God's will not our own, and only then will we have success.

Last week we baptized 3 people and this next week we have three people with a baptismal date. MIRACLES. One of the ones that was baptized last week was an 83 year old man named Julio. We contacted him in the street on Saturday, he went to church on Sunday, and he was baptized two weeks later. Yesterday he was given the Aaronic priesthood. When he was baptized his body left water, and he laughed and said !Que Sabroso! (yummy) Hahah I love him. Then one of our old investigators that we stopped teaching called us out of nowhere and said he wants to be baptized this next Saturday. hahaha MIRACLES.

I love You guys I'll let you know where my new area is next week.

I'll Tell You a Secret

Maham y Daddy O

Hey guys! How's it going?  This week has been pretty busy but also amazing.  It was full of blessings, miracles, and a butt load of crap about the Gospel.  It has made me reflect on pretty much everything about me. What I have done when my life up to this moment, what I'm doing right now, and what I want to do with the rest of my life.

It's a little difficult to think about the things I have done, and maybe I'm not completely sure what I am going to do in the future, but I sure as heck know what I am doing now. And I want to share a little secret with you.. I love It!! I know why I am here, what I am doing, and who I am doing it for. I may not have been perfect before, but now at least I know what I have to do to be happy, something I didn't know before.

But besides that, we baptized Ta... on Saturday. She is so awesome! The Sunday after being baptized, she paid her fast offering even though she is super poor. She is 18 years old and she has a one and a half year-old daughter named Ro... who is sooo freaking adorable... I love the people from Guatemala! I don't even know why, I just love them. We also spent the better part of two days this week preparing all the paper work for two families to be able to get married and afterwords baptized this Friday. So amazing....these people! One of the husbands of the families we are going to marry is named Ju... He is 83 years old and we contacted him in the street one day. And right there during the contact we told him we had a baptismal service ready for him and we challenged him with a baptismal date and he accepted.  Now he is going to get married and will be baptized this Friday.  He is an amazing example of faith, I love him.

Also the members here in the Rodeo are amazing.  They always give us food, and help us out. I love it here, It has been a really awesome area.

I think you guys should get an Acura RDX. Jjust my thoughts, but I don't really know. Flubba looks glorious on that tree stump and the girls look good in the dresses. That's crazy that Drew has a broken ankle. Did he get a cast? If you want to loose weight for the wedding Maham, you should come to Guatemala and walk all day!  I wieghed myself the other day and I weigh 146 pounds.  That's like 20 pounds less then when I came hahaha. But if you can't come, just know your perfect the way you are.

Love you guys (pictures next week)

I Love the Scriptures!!!

MAHam y Daddy O

Hey guys this week was a week of miracles!!! We had a really good week, with 12 invesitgators in church woooohhhhhh with one family!!!! But we did everything possible to make it happen, worked super hard every day, even thouigh it rained super hard pretty much every day. We gave everything we had and the Lord blessed us abundantly.

Some of the miracles that happened:
-An investigator named Mario intorduced us to his family and they all came to church.

- Mario, the same investigator, visited all of his nieghboors with us, and from them another 2 people went to church.
- The Rama Rodeo had 113 people in church!  The most they have ever had.

And there was also written upon them a new writing, which was easy to read, which did give us understanding concerning the ways of the Lord; and it was written and changed from time to time, according to the faith and diligence which we gave.  And thus we see that by small means the Lord can do great things.

I learned a lot about how God blesses us. Amo las escrituras!!!  I love the scriptures!!!

Ear Update

Maham y Daddy O

Hey guys hows it going over there? It's pretty good here. It was a kind of weird week though because we got to go to the capital, Guatemala City! It was pretty cool. We left on Wednesday, stayed the night there and came back late Thursday night. It was quite an adventure. I ate in McDonald's for like the 2nd time ever on my mission. It was soo good I cried. Hahah!  It was like an actual hamburger, AMAZING. We also found a Hard Rock Cafe but we didn't go in. I was really impressed by the capital actually.  It's so different than the Guatemala I know.  There are like actually street and buildings that aren't made entirely of cinder block. I saw the Doctor and he said that the hole in my eardrum is really big. I basically don't have an eardrum. But there is nothing they can do here it has to wait until I get back. He also said that it was stable and there is no infection or anything. I just have to keep water out. I also can't change altitudes. So it looks like I won't be going back to San Marcos or San Pedro any time soon.

This week we had some cool experiences. We had 4 investigators in church and we challenged L's little brother with a baptismal date and he accepted and is going to be baptized this Saturday. But L still hasn't come to church, which is kind of frustrating. But we aren't going to give up on him.

Also this week we found some cool new investigators. One is super Evangelical dude. And he asked us a question that I couldn't respond to. It was about the adulterous women they brought before Jesus to be stoned.  His question was why didn't they bring the man before Jesus too because they had both committed adultery. I was like uuuuuhhhhh I don't know, but is that going to help you with your salvation? And he was like well not really but I want to know. So we told him we would study it but I haven't found an answer yet. Another question he asked was when we shared John 3:5 that says basically if you aren't born of water and of the spirit you can't enter the Kingdom of God and he was like "but what about the thieves that were crucified with Jesus, he wasn't baptized, he just believed in Jesus' words and Jesus promised him that they would see each other in paradise. We where like uuuhhh. hahah this guy had some good questions. All in a good days work hahahah.

But I love you guys and I'll talk to you next week. If you have an answer for any of the questions that would be cool.

Rainy Season

MAHAM Y DADDY O

Happpy Birthday Dadddddddd! Mwoooo 50 years old!  You're a big boy now!

How's it going guys? This week has been pretty good. Not really much happened.  We taught some good lessons, found some cool people, and had a sweel time. I can't believe how fast the time goes by though. I feel like it was yesterday that I left the CCM. But that acctually happened a year ago. HAHA! Crazy! 11 more months! But anyways...

Right now we are in the rainy season and almost every day at four o' clock it rains like crazy. Everything gets wet. Also the 15th of September is coming up here soon which is the independence day here in Guatemala. Everybody puts up flags and the school kids put on a program where they do a parade/band thing. It's alright but the they don't really know that their music doesn't sound like music.

Oh and L (our investigator)  is 18 yrs old. He didn't go to church again, but I'm not going to give up on him.

Anyways I love and miss you guys. Tell Nathan I love him and not to be a bum. Tell Drew i love him and that he should leave for his mission before going to a year of college.  Tell Audrey I love her  and not to have a boyfriend. Tell Bryn I love her and that she is perfect the way she is. Maham, I love you you're the best Maham ever. Daddy O, I love you you're the best Daddy O ever.

Love you guys

Miracles Do Happen

Maham y Daddy-O,
Hey guys what's up?  Everything over here is going pretty good.  I'm pretty good, but lately I have been thinking a lot about home. I don't know why, maybe it's because I am going 'down the hill' now. If the mission was like a mountain, and the year mark is the peak, I have now reached the peak and I'm going down the mountain. Everybody knows going down the mountain is a lot faster than going up. So yea, maybe that is why I have been a little baggy (homesick). I have a goal though, to only be a little baggy when I'm in the house in bed.  So far it's working out pretty well.  I also have another goal to read every book in the mission library before I end the mission. I'm reading Jesus the Christ right now. It's really interesting, but sometimes hard to read.  I struggle finding motivation and everything like that.

So this week we baptized R... it was awesome. He bore his testimony after he was baptized. It's always awesome to see your convert share what he has come to know. So that makes me happy. But I'm also kind of sad because L... didn't go to church this Sunday so we have to postpone his baptism. Sometimes it's really hard because people don't want to give up their time for the Lord. But I know that he will be baptized and will be a missionary some day. ITS ALL ABOUT THAT FE (faith).  You gotta have fe or else milagros (miracles) won't come to pass.

So this week we had a multi-zone conference with half the mission and with a general authority from the first Quorum of the Seventy Elder Alonso. It was really cool. We learned a lot about the atonement.  He told us that if we taught the atonement well and with the Spirit that our investigators would tell us to baptize them.  So my companion and I  put it to the test.   I really tried to put the atonement into practice in my life and in my teachings this week and we were sharing a lesson with a part member family of less actives.  We shared a message about the atonement and how God has prepared a way for us to return to Him and that by do the things He has sent us here to do, we are able to put this plan into practice.  The Spirit was so strong.  After our lesson the Father of the family who isn't a member came out of the other room where he had been listening and thanked us for helping his family. He said he understood our lesson perfectly and that he was going to go to church with us one Sunday.  So when that happened we were totally shocked because that Dude never wanted to talk to us before, and now he was telling us that he would go do church when we didn't even invite him.  I know that the promise Elder Alonso gave to us that day came true and that miracles do happen.

Brillando!

Love you guys

PS some old photos that I'm finally putting up.  Evan's camera hasn't been working so these will have to do for now...

Testimony

Maham y Daddy-O

How's it going guys? Everything here is pretty good. It sounds like a lot of fun stuff is happening over there right now. But I'm glad I am here. Yesterday there was no power for a long time so that's why I didn't write and I am now allowed to write you guys today.

Just a couple of things about my new area. It's pretty cool. We have an investigator named Rafael he is going to be baptized this Saturday. He is 37 years old and is really excited to be baptized. Today we taught him about patriarchical blessings. He is really excited to get his and to recieve the Priesthood. He is awesome. On Saturday we helped him move. We took almost all day to do it, but in the end everything worked itself out. We are also working with an 18 year old kid and his 14 yr old brother, Lester and Marvin.  They are really sweet and want to serve missions. Every time we go they accept everything and share their thoughts on how they can see the difference between other churches and our church. We found Lester one day while contacting. Ever since I met him I have felt like in the premortal life I promised him I would find and teach him the Gospel. I don't know why but I love him as if he were my Brother.

Lately my companion and I have started to read and study more diligently, and I feel like it's really helping me to feel the spirit. But today we had a lesson where the spirit wasn't there. It went really bad. I didn't feel good afterwords and neither did my companion. I hated not having the spirit. I felt super uncomfortable.

(I know the church is true and the Lord loves me.  I know what I need to do to have the spirit with me.  When I don't have the spirit with me I don't feel good and I can't teach the Gospel like He wants me to.  I know Joseph Smith was a prophet called of God and through him the true church was restored and is on the earth today.  I know I am here to bring souls to God.  I have seen the change one makes when they come to know the true church and that's why I continue to be here because I love this work and I know that only through he Lord can we have eternal happiness.  I know Jesus Christ lives and through His atonement we can be forgiven of our sins.  I love the Lord and Heavenly Father and the people here in Guatemala.  In Jesus' name Amen).

Love you guys,

Catching Up

Sorry I've neglected posting Evan's letters.  We've had a busy Summer.  Also for a couple weeks he didn't write much so I was not inclined to post those 'texts' he sent.  Here are some past weeks and we expect another today...

8/8/16
Maham y Daddy O

How's it going guys?  I have had an interesting couple of weeks.  So first of all I had changes so now I'm back in Malcatan! But I'm in a different area called El Rodeo. It's a pretty cool area. We baptized last Saturday and we are going to baptize again this Saturday. This area has baptized the last 5 Saturdays in a row... it is soo different from the mountain areas I have been in.  I'm gald to be back on the coast.

The reason I haven't written the last two weeks is because I have had interviews with President. Nothing is wrong.  I just had some District Leader duties relating to members of my district in Retalhuleu. It's a long trip down there and back to the mountains. That, and some times I really just don't feel like writing.

Anyways my new companion's name is Elder Pimentel. He is from El Salvador and has 14 months on the mission. He's pretty cool. I think we will work well together.

My camera situation is like this: My memory stopped working, but I sent it off to be fixed. My camera cord is lost and the battery charger I accidently left in my old area, but I'm working on everything to get it back up and running so I can send some pictures.

I haven't gotten the package you sent yet, but I do know that it has gotten to the office. Thank you soo much.

I love and miss you guys

I'll write more details next week. Ask anything you want to know

Maham y Daddy-O

Ima just do bullet points cause it's easier

- This week was really good. We had fun, did good work, & baptized Kevin.
- Kevin is a 14 kid and his family are converts of about a year. He didn't want to be baptized but we convinced the crap out of him until he did. Meaning we brought him pizza, played Uno with him and taught him after we earned his trust. He is really cool. He's gonna be a missionary some day...
- Thanks for the package. it was awesome!  I love yous guys.
- I'm not in the same ward as before. I'm in a rama (branch) called El Rodeo. It's pretty freaking cool. However, I did see the members from my old rama San Isidro.  It was pretty sweet to see them again.
- I get along really well with my companion.  He is really humble and awesome, and our house is pretty small but it's cool. I'll send pictures when I can.
- We have a lot of investigators.  We do a lot of divisions with the jovenes (young boys) and we are teaching a lot of really positive families.
-That's pretty much all that is happening. But yeah, it would be cool if Dad could talk to the President about seeing a Doctor here for my ear. I'm going to talk to him next P-day and we will get everything figured out.

Hey when is Nathan going to get married? tell him to get  job and a haircut. Haha!

I love you guys

Time Goes By

Mahm y Daddy O,
How is everything going this week? I hope it's not to stressful with a the trip stuff coming up. I know it can be hectic (don't know how to spell that). But everything here on my end is good except I can't get my memory card from my camera to work. But trust me when I say there are some cool pictures. It's really actually frustrating not being able to send pictures. I wish sometimes that you guys could just see what I see everyday like if I had a GoPro permanently mounted on my head or something. My favorite thing in Guatemala besides being a missionary is getting jalones, which is like hitching a ride, in the back of pick up truck. Doing this (especially here in the mountains), I feel like a freaking eagle! It's the best thing ever! It's so beautiful.
Well not much has happened this week besides the fact that tomorrow Elder Ga... gets a new companion. So we will no longer be in a trio, which will be better for getting work done. So that happened, and also we were able to put a baptismal date down for someone. So we will for sure we a baptizing this month. Her name is Si...  I think I told you guys about her before. But she took a little bit longer to get her to accept the fete (date).
Anyways, I love you guys and can't believe I almost have a year on the mission. It's pretty crazy how fast the time goes by. I'll be home in a year... CRAZY
Love you guys,
Elder Tagg

I Was Basically a Hero

MAHM Y DADDY-O
How's it going guys? This week was pretty crazy and I took lots of amazing photos, but I freaking forgot the cable to my camera so that's why there will be no photos this week. So sorry guys.
This week my comp Elder P... had changes also Elder G... (the gringo from my group). So this is what happened: They had changes and Elder Garcia and I stayed. But instead of sending us two new comps they only sent one because there is a shortage of missionaries right now. So I have two comps until another missionary comes up. Our new comp's name is Elder Carias. He is from Honduras and is freaking awesome. He only has 2 months in the mission, so I am finishing his training. Honestly I don't know why President is giving me all these responsibilities I guess he trusts me or something. Oh and by the way, Elder Carias' Dad is a 70 in Honduras so I'm gonna have to do a good job training him, or I'll never be a zone leader haha.
So that happened and we also had a another multi-zone meeting to say good bye to President and hermana Ruiz. I'm going to really miss them. I have learned so much from the both of them, and will never forget what they have done for me. It was really sad, but I'm also excited for president Goodman. This Thursday all the district leaders and the zone leaders are going to meet him. It should be pretty awesome. We will see what changes he makes.
We had a miracle in my area this week. So this week was district conference. We had 8 investigators in church which is crazy in the mountain zones. We are defiantly baptizing in July at least 4 that is for sure. So that was the miracle.
We also finally did something fun for P-day. We went to this field that was right next to the forrest and we played capture the flag. I won my team the final game. So this is how it went almost our whole team was in jail, and I went and snuck through a stream and spotted the flag. So I grabbed it and ran back through the stream with like four people chasing me and I crossed into the side of my team all wet and muddy, but we won! Hahahaha  swheeet victory! It was awesome I was basically a hero amongst elders and hermanas.

love you guys and know you can do it.

Someone posted this on Facebook.  All of these Elders have served in the mountain area of Tejutla and one of them is holding a mission call to be delivered to a fellow branch member.  Pres Ruiz gave it to them at zone conference.  Two Elders on the left have both been Evan's companions previously.

This is 1/2 of his mission.  He's in there somewhere!

I Know Who I Am

Mahm y Daddy-O

Hey guys. How's it all going? Sorry that I wasn't feeling good last week and didn't write you guys a full letter. Sometimes it's just hard and I didn't really feel like it, haha. This week will be a good one I hope.

But first of all: HAPPY FREAKING FATHERS DAY DAD!!!!  I love you soo much and am so greatful you are my Dad. What a crazy dream you had! I almost cried... but any way it would be cool to be a kid again. I like who I am now.  I feel like I have really learned and progressed on the mission. I know who I am and what I need to do to be happy. Thanks for your example. I love you.

This week was a week full of trials and miracles. But it was a good week. One of the trials was that our investigator that had a baptismal date, didn't come to church. So we weren't able to baptize her this week. We are hoping that next week she will be able to come. Her name is S.... she is 70 years old and lives in poverty. It's pretty sad.  But poverty doesn't really effect me as much as it did when I first started. it's now like something normal. But yea, she lives in poverty and she can barely hear, so we have to scream to teach her. But somehow she felt the spirit and chose to accept a baptisimal date. Another miracle is that an investigator that we thought didn't want anything to do with the church, came on Sunday by himself and he is now talking about going on a mission! His name is Amner and he is 18. We met him becuase his girlfriend is a member. The Lord has really touched his life and he has desries to serve a mission which is freaking awesome. We will be baptising him this next week or in July. Both he and Willian the baptism from a couple weeks ago, have desires to serve a mission. Super awesome.  Another miricale we have seen is that me and my comp and one other companionship (in the 2 zones in the mountains) are the only ones who have baptized this month. Which kind of sucks for the zone, but is awesome for us. So I know that the Lord has blessed us to be able to baptize in this time of little baptisms.

Also this week I had to poop in a cup to see if I have pillary or parasites. That was pretty fun. I'll probably know by this next week, so I'll tell you guys next week. That was the first time i have ever pooped in a cup, if you have never done it I highly recommend it.... it's like nothing else.

I love you guys and miss you. See ya in 14 months hahhaha!

New Area, New Companion, New Calling

A multi-zone get together!

Yum!

Hey Mahm and Daddy O,

So this week was pretty fun. As you guys probably already know, I had transfers from Tejutla. I am now in an area called Maclen which is in the other zone in the mountains. It's called Zona San Pedro. This area seems awesome with really strong members which is a big change from Tejutla. My new companions name is Elder Perez. He is from Peru and has 21 months in the mission. He seems awesome.
My area, Maclen, is another one of those areas where you don't reaslly baptize a lot. It's kinda like Tejutla that way,  but we are baptizing this week! He is a 17 year old named Wi... He is sweet. I will send pictures of him next week.

Also this week I was moved up to be a District Leader. It's pretty cool. My district is only 4 missionaries, and we all live in the same house because we live so far away from everyone else. It's still sweet though. I get to pass stats on to the Zone Leaders and I interview people... Pretty dang exciting...
Anyways some cool things happened in the mountain Zones. First of all,l Elder GH... from my district in the CCM is in my district now and we live in the same freaking house!  Second, Elder Ga... came up to Zone San Marcos (my old zone) freaking right when I leave that zone, he enters it. But it's all cool. We get to see each other on P-days.
So that's all that pretty much happened this week. I love you guys and miss you.
